About Me
Hi, I'm Levi. I started tutoring in community college 20 years ago and never stopped! My philosophy to tutoring has developed over the years into finding a balance between asking questions and showing. Sometimes I feel like it's really valuable to come up with a particular solution on your own, but I understand that there are other times when the frustration can just be so overwhelming that you need to be shown to a solution instead. My goal is always that you become self-sufficient. It's always a bonus to see how math can improve your everyday life as well.

In tutoring, or guiding people through math, I value patience. I value your own thoughts. I try to be flexible with how you want to journey through math. Contrary to popular opinion, math is a very creative process, and there can be multiple paths, or maths :), toward reaching the same goal. I try to respect which paths you want to take, whether you want a guide in making your own way, or a helper to make sure you are traveling a certain prescribed way.

Statistics, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, SAT and ACT test prep. Group theory, analysis, number theory, combinatorics, graph theory are all higher level courses I can help you with as well.
Right now I am only doing online tutoring. I will send you a zoom link 30 minutes before our session. You will need to download zoom prior to our meeting. If you prefer another app though, let me know and we might be able to use that instead.
Rate: $50/hr
